Deborah Robinson

Deborah Robinson

Deborah is a fine, fiber and hand-made greeting card artist who creates textural works using her collection of unusual art supplies. She throws nothing away and then organizes it all by material and the color wheel. Her retired library career helps her organize the chaos.

She is a self-taught artist having taken private and museum lessons in Oklahoma, Indiana, Colorado and Penland in North Carolina. She has studied printmaking with Denice Goldschmidt and Andy Saftel. Her collage career started in high school when she created a trash can from an ice cream carton out of magazine pictures. It still resides in her studio. She also teaches elementary students art in an artist in residence program. She is available for workshops and commissions, as well.
